Loved Ones

Thank you so very much Ms. Haley A. (written during mid-2017)
Families coping when someone they love is struggling!
One of our most heartfelt challenges has been addressing parents and loved ones of those struggling with addiction or other hardships. Attempting to explain that, yes, parents and other family members play a role in an acquired addiction disorder, or other psychological conditions, is super challenging. My dear loved ones, your influences are only a piece of the puzzle. The overall process for developing dysfunctional conditions contains many influential elements. So many times, we've heard "this is all my fault" from a mom or dad; or a sibling "I wish I knew how to help," is another commonly heard phrase. We assure you, getting involved here is in you and yours' best interest.
