Hello and welcome to my first video game review. I will start with Injustice 2 which I give a rating of “extra woke”. The game has a rough start. Queue some major F.E.A.R.

Hope you read the quote. It’s pretty woke right off the bat, maybe something to put on an office wall. Right away we establish that Superman has gone off his meds and onto the Joker’s cocktail. Bruce Batsey (voiced by Kevin Conroy!) also mentions that Metropolis was NUKED. OK I missed something but whatever, always look to the future. Anyway, time for some more of the feels because…

Robin the Brat
Oh shit. Batman is pissed and he decides why not physically abuse the boy to drive the point home. But boy wonder escapes with superman. Fuck, is that bad? We just beat both of them literally into space and then smashed them against the ground. I think they can get a pass, though Robin is a murderer so I guess we get the pass? So many emotions now, no way am I making sense of this tonight.

Now Brucy Loosey is bragging about how he turned the world into a police state while his crony Lucius Fox (voiced by Phil LaMarr) rants about his public image. Some foreshadowing about gettin the band back together goes on and the rest I forget because I fell asleep.

Wake Up – The Girl Who Laughs Is Written In Bold
I guess the game is broken into chapters or something. Anyway, here come some now reformed v-kids. This seems to happen a lot these days. I guess we still have to tame some of them because it is still a fighting game. However, it turns out that Harley Quin has a PhD and knows how to run the surveillance state all by herself. Also she finds some gorillas on the thing who appear to be evil. Also she is immune to anything Scarecrow the fear dealer is selling. You go girl! This is busy!
We Fight Some Green Peace Folks
Not sure if I should really get into it. This guy has a swamp and we messed it up. He is mad, so we beat the bejesus out of him. I guess now he is chill.
BOOMER WARNING
Adam dropped the Black from his name but still isn’t chill. Wonder women is also really digging into Supergirl, voiced by Laura Bailey. It appears that supergirl can take care of her self, but the boomers won’t let he have autonomy. So she rebels? Nope she just takes the verbal abuse. “The time will come”. OK BOOMER, THINK IT CAME.

OK so something is up here. We gotta beat down some animals now? Oh and I forgot to mention Green Arrow, not much to mention though.
OK So the baddies teamed up against Superman, Robin, and the Boomers. BETTER IDEA – we can rehab them with our fists so they team up with US. Great idea. Now we got the Catholics breathing down out neck
Guess what? We beat that guy down and reformed him. Turns out he was under the influence of that helmet and with it off he is a really great guy. We caught up but he had to go. Couldn’t have been worst timing because Green Arrow decided to run his mouth leading the the discovery that his arrows do nothing against anything.
