If there is one type of person that totally irritates me, it’s the type that suffer through something horrible, like addiction, and then, when doing well, look down on others with an addiction, as if they are now better than those people. I’ve recently come across this and it’s exceptionally sad, as I grew to love this person. As much as my addiction has been in remission for many years now, I’ve managed to avoid feeling like I am any better than any other addict, suffering or not suffering. First and foremost, we are all human beings, deserving of the same love and respect, as any other human being. It is this creed that has allowed the ARMOR Program to help so many. So, if you are one of those, up on your high horse, put that in your pipe and smoke it! Please don’t look down on your fellow addicts. The secret to loving life is to keep looking up!
